Khrystyna Val’ko was born in Lviv, Ukraine. She graduated from the Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trush with a degree in artist-restorer. She specializes in canvas painting, restoration, book illustration, and is a lecturer in the Restoration Department at the Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trush. Khrystyna is a certified art therapy specialist, working with children and disabled children. She is a member of the International Federation of Art Therapy and Self-Realization, and the co-founder and director of the socio-cultural festival “Znesinnya Fest”. Khrystyna also curates exhibitions and charitable auctions, and participates in group and personal exhibitions in Ukraine and internationally.
