July 22, 2023 | It is with immense pride that we announce the generous contribution of the renowned French children’s illustrator, David Revoy, to our foundation. David has graciously granted us the right to utilize his entire famous collection of Pepper & Carrot comic characters. David has entrusted us with his life’s work, a testament to his dedication and passion for art and its impact on young minds. Expressing our gratitude with a simple “thank you” hardly suffices for such a remarkable act of generosity. The Board of Trustees of the Soul of Ukraine, an International Charitable Foundation, humbly approached His Holiness Filaret, Patriarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, our foundation’s esteemed patron, to request the prestigious Order of St. Volodymyr Equal-to-the-Apostles of the first degree to be bestowed upon David Revoy.

July 17, 2023 | The Mother Teresa Rehabilitation Center for Ukrainian Children Affected by Russian Bombings, in collaboration with esteemed artists and international business entities, is proud to announce the global touring retrospective exhibition titled “CHILDREN’S ART AMIDST RUSSIAN BOMBINGS.” The inaugural exhibition will commence on August 19, 2023, at the Minto Einkaufszentrum in Mönchengladbach, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. This powerful exhibition aims to shed light on the resilience and creativity of Ukrainian children impacted by the devastating Russian bombings. Leading the curation of this profound showcase is the renowned Ukrainian artist, Elena Kambina. Her expertise and artistic vision ensure a compelling presentation that captures the essence of the children’s experiences and their remarkable artistic expressions.

May 24, 2023 | The “Recklama” company, based in Odessa, is currently developing a website for the International Rehabilitation Center named after Mother Teresa in Albania. This Center aims to provide assistance to Ukrainian children who have been disabled as a result of the military aggression by Russia and its mercenaries. May 9, 2023 | The first exhibition of drawings by Ukrainian children in the United States is scheduled for the middle of the summer season in 2023. Currently, our goal is to hold an auction for the first thousand lots.

May 2, 2023 | The Soul of Ukraine Foundation’s Board of Trustees has made a formal plea to President Zelensky, urging him to confer a special status on the Mother Teresa Rehabilitation Center in Albania. This designation would enable the center to provide Ukrainian children with the essential medical and psychological aid they require. The Foundation’s petition includes a call for the establishment of a Ukrainian Honorary Consul office at our center, a vital move towards ensuring that children affected by the conflict receive the necessary support and attention. Furthermore, the Foundation has also appealed to the global community to extend their support to the center, helping it to continue its crucial mission.

April 25, 2023 | HostPro.UA, the national provider of Ukraine, generously donated a portable computer to our fund. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the management of HostPro.UA for providing us with this essential tool, which is of utmost importance to us.

March 15, 2023 | The Patriarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Filaret, recognized the developers of our online auction platform with high awards. Mr. Oleksandr Kostetskyi, the founder of the Recklama company, and webmaster Mr. Bohdan Shumeiko, were presented with the prestigious Order of St. Volodymyr the Great Equal to the Apostles, 3rd degree, for their contributions. Additionally, Arina Gacko, Bohdan Voin, Viktor Fedirko, Kristina Hoiman, and Mariia Khakirova were honored with the medal “For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine.” This recognition highlights the important work of these individuals in advancing technological innovation and promoting love for their country.
