The sun was shining bright in the sky as the children played in the park. Their laughter echoed through the air, as they ran around, chasing each other and playing games. It was a carefree afternoon, and the children were enjoying every moment of it.
But suddenly, the peace was shattered. The sound of warplanes filled the air, and the ground shook with the force of the explosions. The children were terrified, not knowing what was happening.
As they looked up, they saw Russian invaders flying overhead, dropping bombs and firing guns. The sky that was once endless and blue was now filled with smoke and fire.
The children huddled together, seeking comfort in each other’s presence. But amidst the chaos, they refused to give up hope. They knew that they had plans for a long life, and they refused to let the invaders take that away from them.
With a cry from their hearts, they shouted to their mothers that they were not afraid. They stood tall and strong, determined to survive and overcome the horrors of war.
Yehor Ozerov captured this moment in his artwork. The sunny figurines of children against the background of the endless blue sky are a symbol of hope in the darkest of times. They remind us that even in the face of adversity, we can still find strength and hope.
